My approach

      My approach is simple, I’m in the background mostly – ninja photographer! Lovingly capturing those natural moments, and real reactions as your day unfolds. The only time I bring a little direction is for your couple portraits and your selected family group shots. I adore capturing peoples character, the laughter (and the tears) and all those gorgeous details. I’m also obsessed with light and where it falls in order to create the most flattering soft images, and when the sun is low and golden (golden hour), that’s my absolute favourite!

      I used to shoot in film photography before digital, and I always aim to achieve the same colours and tones that you get from film photography in my digital edit – so that your images will have a timeless aesthetic for you to admire for years to come.

      Hello!  I’m Mary-Anne, and I adore this job of mine. I often get caught up in the excitement of it all – with meeting amazing people and traveling to places I have never been to before. The love between a couple and the atmosphere created by those that love them the most, is always hugely inspiring to witness!

      I’m fascinated by peoples stories, it will always be a privilege to capture one of the best days of peoples lives so that they can relive and treasure those memories forevermore. I always hope to be more than a photographer – a friend, a calming presence, and lending a helping hand if there are any hiccups along the way.  See my reviews.
